Call it Swamp Lantern, Skeena Lily, or Western Skunk Cabbage, and look for the huge yellow blooms in bogs and marshes, or sniff out its skunky odour in March (along with the pollinating flies and midges). There are plenty in Francis King Park and along the Lochside Trail.
