The Village Cheese Company’s Pan-Fried Feta Cheese Appetizer

Cut 250 gm Village Cheese Organic Cow Feta into 1/2″ slices, without crumbling. Freeze for 10 minutes to ensure firmness. Beat 1 egg with 1 tsp oregano & fresh pepper. Cover a small plate with sesame seeds. Dip the cheese into the egg, then dip into the sesame seeds. Pat the seeds onto the cheese to ensure a complete encrusting on both sides. Heat 3 Tbsp olive oil in a shallow pan on medium-high. Cook cheese slices until they start to melt along the bottom edge. Carefully turn and cook to the melting point again. Serve immediately with fresh olives and tomatoes!
