Sauté 1 ½ onions, ½ head of garlic & 1 Tbsp salt in ¼ c oil oil until soft, not brown. Add 1 litre peeled & chopped yam, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp thyme, ½ tsp allspice, ½ tsp nutmeg, 1 ½ litres broth & ¼ cup peanut butter. Bring to boil and simmer, covered, until yam is soft. Add ½ can pumpkin puree and blend soup until very smooth. Season to taste and serve garnished with yogurt.
