Calendar: 2019 Soroptimist Western Canada Region
“Soroptimist” means “best for women.” Soroptimist International (SI) is a worldwide organization. Members in over 120 countries work to empower & educate women and girls, advance human rights and achieve gender equality. Soroptimist International, Western Canada Region, is made up of 19 Clubs from Winnipeg to Vancouver Island, dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls locally and around the world.
Blue Heron Art proudly joins Soroptimist in building community. We are grateful to the 12 artists sharing the landscapes of Western Canada. This calendar includes paintings from each local artist, tidbits of history and culture, Soroptimist events, and seasonal recipes from Club members.
